A Greater Boston Jewish National Fund Conference held here pledged itself to raise sufficient funds to purchase 2,000 dunams of land in Palestine, as part of the war-time land expansion program there. The conference was addressed by U.S. Senator William H. King of Utah and by Mendel Fisher, executive director of the JNF.
