Polish Jews whose businesses have been confiscated are being forced to work at their trades in municipally and government-owned factories, under conditions of virtual slavery, according to reports appearing in the Litzmannstadter Zeitung reaching here today.

The Nazi paper, published in Lodz, carries an advertisement inserted by the mayor of the town of Warta in the annexed section of Poland, stating: “I am in charge of 250 qualified Jewish tailors, hatters and furriers; and I undertake all sorts of work for military and civilian customers.”
