The ousting of more than 150 Jews from key positions in Bulgarian industry, commerce and banking establishments has been recommended by two special commissions appointed some time ago by the Bulgarian government as part of its drive to completely eradicate Jews from the economic life of the country, the Donan Zeitung reports today.
One commission recommended the ouster of 110 Jews engaged in industrial pursuits and 25 in commerce. The second commission urged replacing 25 Jews now holding important positions in Bulgarian banks.
