Arabs “organized and executed” the recent abortive attempt to kill the Chief of Police of Jerusalem, the Budapest radio today reported, quoting boasts in Italian newspapers. When the incident was reported by the police authorities in Jerusalem on April 23, they did not indicate that Arabs were responsible for the attempted bombing.
Meanwhile an Arab broadcaster in Rome today cited the recent Histadruth call for increased enlistment in the armed forces in Palestine as an indication that “the Anglo-Jewish alliance is bearing fruit, despite certain difficulties which will no doubt be settled soon.”
