The immediate organization of a system of education throughout the country for the eradication of prejudice, coupled with the exposure of the Coughlinites, the Ku Kluxers, the Bundists, and other of their ilk, was urged today as an immediate necessity if Democracy is to be regained at the end of the war, by Dr. E. George Payne, Dean of the School of Education of New York University. Dr. Payne’s proposal was made at a Conference of Jewish Organizations summoned by the American Jewish Congress, and attended by 1,000 delegates at the Hotel Edison.
