Jewish Organizations Present First Mobile X-ray Unit to Soviet Army

The first mobile X-ray unit to be sent by American Jews to the Red Army in Russia as an expression of their support of the fight which the Soviet army is waging against the Nazis will be turned over tomorrow to representatives of the Soviet Government at a special ceremony at Broadway and 56th street here.

The chairmen at the presentation ceremonies will be George Gordon Battle. The consul-general of the U.S.S.R. in New York and the military attache of the Soviet embassy in Washington will attend the dedication to officially accept the gift. The unit is one of a number of mobile X-ray units acquired by the Ambijan Committee for Emergency Aid to the Soviet Union which is cooperating with the Russian War Relief. More X-ray units will soon be sent to Russia by the Ambijan Committee, it was announced at a dinner given by the Committee last night at the City Club here.
