The fifty-fifth annual three-day convention of the Order Brith Abraham, one of the largest American-Jewish fraternal organization in the country, scheduled for this coming June in Atlantic City, was postponed for one year on account of the war, to permit the membership to devote all of their time to the country’s national defense, it was announced here today.

The postponement of the convention was made known in a proclamation issued to the 400 lodges of the Order by Grand Master Herman Hoffman. In a referendum vote held among the lodges throughout the country, more than two-thirds favored postponement of this year’s convention until 1943.
