Aliens of Austrian and Austro-Hungarian nationality, who are loyal to the United States, but who mistakenly registered as Germans under the Alien Registration Act of 1940, may now rectify the situation, Attorney General Biddle announced today. Amended registration will be granted to such aliens after an investigation by the Immigration and Naturalization Service relative to their loyalty. Applications, it was announced, are to be made to the local offices of the Immigration and Naturalization Service.
