Negotiations to obtain exit visas for 300 Jewish children in Slovakia have so far been unsuccessful, according to reports reaching here today.

The neutral nation was willing to grant the children a temporary permit on condition that should they not be able to return to Slovakia after the war, they would be in possession of visas to go to another neutral country. But even this deferred permit appears to be unobtainable. All the children are under 16 years of age and their parents, in most cases, have already been deported by the Slovakian Government.
