The entire manpower in Palestine was placed today under the strict control of the Palestine Government. New measures toward this end were announced by Eric Mills, recently appointed controller of manpower.
The announcement explains that a balanced disposal of the available man and woman power is essential for the defense of the Near East and listed the first series of occupations which are deemed essential for the war effort.
