Rolling Synagogue Designed for Soldiers in Desert Training

Dedication ceremonies was held here today at Camp Young for the smallest synagogue in the world – a synagogue on wheels. Jewish soldiers in desert training had no place to worship. Rabbi Isadore Franzblau solved their problem by converting the rear end of a station wagon into a portable house of worship.
