Nazis Mark Rosh Hashanah by Opening Swimming Pool in Poznan Synagogue

The Nazi authorities in Poznan, in the German-annexed section of Poland, marked the first day of Rosh Hashanah, Sept. 12, by opening a swimming pool and public bath in the premises of the former synagogue of Poznan, it was reported here today. Arthur Greiser, German commissar for the annexed area, participated in gala ceremonies opening the baths, the report states.
