LONDON (Oct. 7)
Ernst Frischer, at present the only Jewish member of the Czechoslovakian State Council, will be included in the Council when it is reformed at the end of this month, it was learned here today. No other Jewish representative is expected to be appointed.
Frischer told a Jewish Telegraphic Agency correspondent today that no specific Jewish issues had arisen in the Council this past year, except the question of aid to the Jews of Czechoslovakia. In connection with this problem, Frischer said that he had received “the utmost understanding and sympathy” from the Czechoslovak Government and from the Council.
