Plans for a huge memorials meeting early next month at Madison Square Garden here to commemorate the hundreds of thousands of Jews annihilated by the Nazis in Europe were discussed today at a luncheon at the Hotel Commodore.

The Committee for a Jewish Army of Stateless and Palestinian Jews today announced that it has decided to launch a campaign to save European Jewry from annihilation. The aim of the campaign, the announcement says, is “to impress upon the governments of the United Nations the necessity of appointing an Intergovernmental Commission of military experts with the task of elaborating ways and means of stopping the wholesale slaughter of Jews in Europe.”
