The Emergency Council to Save Jewish Religious Leaders from Dangerous Zones in Europe today received information from Switzerland that Rabbi Chaim Isak Jeruchem, known as the “Altstadter Gaon,” has died in Aldstadt, Galicia, at the age of 78.
