The Jewish National Council of Palestine today decided to send a special delegation to Tripolitania to organize economic aid and social welfare for the liberated Jews there.
Relief funds have been allocated by the Jewish Agency for Palestine and by the Jewish National Council. It is, however, hoped that the American Joint Distribution Committee and Herbert H. Lehman’s office of Foreign Relief and Rehabilitation will find it possible to provide supplementary assistance.
