American Jewish Heroes Day will be observed May 23 in tribute to American Jews who have given their lives in the present conflict. Special functions will be held throughout the nation to honor the Jewish heroes, it was announced here today by Dr. Stephen S. Wise, chairman, and Dr. Joseph Tenenbaum, chairman of the executive committee of the United Jewish War Effort.
