A demand that the anti-Jewish measures in Hungary be enforced more strictly is made in several of the Hungarian newspapers reaching here today. Magyar Sag, published in Budapest, says that “the Jewish question can not be allowed to drag on any longer as thirty percent of the Jews in Budapest are still engaged in business.”
Another paper complains that the Jews think that their present status is just temporary and that “they will regain their former power after the war.” It suggests that all Jews be deported from the country.
