Missouri State Legislature Demands Jewish Commonwealth in Palestine

The Missouri State Legislature today enacted a bill calling upon President Roosevelt, Secretary of State Hull and the United States Congress to use their influence with the United Nations to secure the establishment of a Jewish Commonwealth in Palestine as part of the peace settlement.

The bill was introduced in the House by Representative Mrs. Alex Langsdorf, wife of the Dean of the School of Engineering at Washington University, and in the Senate by Senator Joseph A. Falzone.
