Sixty Polish-jewish Refugees Died in Iran During Past Year

Sixty Jews were among the 2,637 Polish refugees who died in Persia during the last twelve months, it was reported today in Dziennik Polski, semi-official organ of the Polish Government-in-Exile.

London newspapers today report from Sweden that following the recent heavy Allied air raid on Berlin, the Nazis deported all Jews from the city to an “unknown destination” in the east.
