The Jewish Anti-Fascist Committee today announced that a Jewish delegation has left Russia for the United States. The delegation is composed of S. Mikoels, noted Jewish actor and chairman of the Committee, and Isaac Feffer, one of Russia’s outstanding Jewish poets.

This is only the second Jewish delegation to be sent by Russia to the United States since the Russian Revolution. The first, headed by M. Rashkes, a Soviet-Jewish relief leader, was sent from Moscow about twenty years ago when large-soale Jewish colonization work was started in the Ukraine and in Crimea. Mr. Rashkes spent several months in America visiting various cities where he delivered addresses on the Jewish colonization projects in Russia.
