The American Association for Jewish Education in compliance with the request of the Office of Defense Transportation has postponed its annual meeting which is generally held in June and is convening a special session of its Board of Governors, it was announced here today. This extraordinary session of the Board of Governors will be held in New York at the Hotel Waldorf-Astoria, all day Sunday, June 27. The purpose of this gathering is to discuss the effects of the war on Jewish education with special reference to the needs of the Jewish communities during the war.
