Palestine authorities today warned the population that the danger from enemy air raids on coastal cities is not yet removed. They announced that steel helmets and white uniforms will be issued to the Air Raid Protection personnel in Tel Aviv. In addition more equipment will be supplied and fulltime workers will be enlisted whose pay and conditions of work will be the same as that of auxiliary police.

“The authorities do not regard the threat of air attacks as having disappeared, and measures should not be relaxed,” stated Mr. R. C. Musgrave, Director of Passive Defense. “Anybody who subscribes to the view that the danger is now passed, and that passive defense measures should be relaxed,” he declared, “is not only a fool, but a public menace.”
