Anti-Jewish propagandists in Australia today suffered a heavy blow when members of the Parliament made public data showing that of 84 land purchases in the Shepparton fruit-growing center, a hundred miles from Melbourne, only five were made by Jews. The anti-Semites alleged that Jews in that area “seek to capture control over the district by purchasing properties while Australians are fighting on the battlefront.”
