Jews in Palestine were asked to donate Hebrew Bibles for the troops in an appeal issued here today following a conference of Jewish chaplains of the British Army in the Middle East. Many Jewish soldiers find it difficult to obtain Jewish religious books, especially Bibles, the appeal said.
