Pilot officer Falstein, the only Jewish member in the Australian Parliament, has been re-elected by a greater majority than at any previous election. Efforts on the part of opposition political parties to capitalize on Falstein’s supporting measures for admission of refugees apparently exerted no influence on the voters.
