One thousand British policemen will shortly be added to the strength of the Palestine police force, it was stated here today.
The Palestine Government, through its acting financial secretary, A. L. Savage, today appealed to the Jewish farmers to increase the agricultural production of the country in order to make it as self-sufficient as possible. A Government spokesman also announced today that the Citrus Control Board has no intention of continuing in power after the war. Any plans for reconstruction which may come up during or after the war, will be discussed with the representatives of the citrus industry before their final adoption, he said.
