Rabbi Salomon Rodrigues Pereria, former Chief Rabbi of the Portuguese Israelite Community of The Hague, has been named advisor on Jewish affairs to the Netherlands Government upon its return to Holland, the Office of War Information reported today. In the meantime, Rabbi Pereria will act as chaplain with the Netherlands Army in England and will leave for England shortly, the report said.
