The German authorities in Denmark last Thursday cancelled the order permitting Jews holding Swedish passports and Jews married to Aryans to leave the country, it is reported here today. The order had been in effect only ten days.
The Dagens Nyheter reports that despite their promises, the Nazis are also arresting half-Jews and have sent many of them to internment camps. Another Swedish paper disclosed that the bulk of the persons deported from Denmark were elderly women and children who were unable to flee to Sweden.
