Plans for bringing immediate aid to Jews in liberated European countries were discussed here today at a joint meeting of representatives of the Jewish Agency and of other leading relief organizations with the participation of Prof. Norman Bentwich who represented the Board of Deputies of British Jews of London. Dr. J.L. Magnes also participated.

The meeting placed particular stress on the necessity of immediately mobilizing fully equipped relief units to follow the victorious Allied armies into liberated territories. The unites are to consist of physicians, nurses, social workers and personnel competent to deal with the needs of the Jews in these territories.
