Yugoslav Jewish refugees in Palestine were today invited to return to their homeland after the war by Vladeta Millechevitch, Minister of the Interior in King Peter’s cabinet. Millechevitch told a meeting of the Yugoslav Jewish Settlers Association that “we will welcome the Jews and their talents will be fully appreciated.”

King Peter, who is also visiting Palestine, today received three Jewish refugee children from Yugoslavia, who described the plight of the Jews and asked his assistance. The King promised to do all possible to assist the Jews in Yugoslavia and stressed that “all are suffering as brothers in a common plight.”
