Dr. Abba Hille Silver, national chairman of the United Palestine Appeal, has issued a call for a special Emergency Conference of the UPA for Sunday, January 9, 1944, in Cincinnati, it was announced here today. The conference will be held at the Netherlands Plaza Hotel. United States Senator Alben W. Barkley of Kentucky, the majority leader of the United States Senate, will be the keynote speaker.
