Isaac Raboy, 62, well known Yiddish author, died in the Duarty Sanitorium near here last night. He had been ill for some time. Raboy, who had been a member of the staff of the New York Yiddish daily, “The Morning Freheit,” for the past 15 years, was born in Poland and reared in Bessarabia, in Rumania. He came to the United States in 1904. Even after he had attained sufficient prominence to make a living by writing, Raboy preferred to continue working in factories and at various trades and to write in his spare time. His body will be sent to New York, where funeral services will be held on Sunday.
