The proponents of close cooperation between the Board of Deputies of British Jews and the World Jewish Congress scored a victory last night when the plenary session of the Board approved at a late hour the suggestion of its executive to establish a liaison office composed of representatives of both organizations. Earlier in the evening it was stated that the Board had accepted the suggestion “only in principle.”
