Representative Committee to Speak for Jews in Occupied Holland Formed in New York

The creation of a Dutch Jewish Representative Committee to speak and act on behalf of the Jewish community in occupied Holland, was announced here today by the World Jewish Congress.

The committee is composed of prominent Dutch Jews now in exile in the United States. Rev. D. A. Jessurun Cardozo was elected acting chairman, Mr. Bernard Spier, of The Hague, was elected acting secretary. Rabbi Rodriguez Pereira, official advisor on Jewish matters to the Dutch Government in London, has been authorized by his government to act as consultant for the World Jewish Congress and the Dutch Jewish Representative Committee.
