Palestine police officials today were investigating the origin of a number of bombs which exploded simultaneously Saturday night in the Immigration Department offices at Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Haifa causing damages but no casualties.
In Jerusalem, seven bombs exploded behind the walls of the headquarters of the Immigration Department. One of the walls was damaged and windows of houses in the neighborhood were shattered by the explosion.
In Haifa the building where the Immigration Office is located was wrecked by the blast. In Tel Aviv the explosions caused slight damages to the building of the Immigration Office.
No trace has been found of the criminals. The police recently discovered wires attached to stocks of explosives leading to other buildings.
In Tel Aviv, armed men today entered the club of the Hashomer Hatzair, left wing of the Jewish Labor Federation, and started to distribute leaflets. When members of the club tried to eject the intruders, one of them drew a revolver and opened fire, seriously wounding a 16-year-old member Yair Gruener. Ammon Sherman, another club member, was severely beaten by the hooligans.
