The Minister of Interior of Eire today told the Dail Eiresan that "appropriate action" will be taken against a Jewish youth publication in Dublin for publishing an uncensored article "offensive to a friendly nation." The Minister refused to disclose both the nature of the article and the name of the nation which took exception to it.
In the House of Commons today, Minister of Information Brenden Bracken was asked to take steps against the anti-Jewish propaganda contained in the bulletins published by an organization which calls itself the "Medical Policy Association." Mr. Sreceken replied that in view of the fact that even Hitler’s anti-Semitic ravings made no impression on the people of Britain, he thought that the ravings of the anti Semitic bulletin could safely be ignored.
The London Times today carries a letter from Jerusalem written by Bernard Joseph, acting head of the political department of the Jewish Agency, in which exception is taken to the report of the Palestine correspondent of the paper asserting that Jewish opposition to the White Paper and the demand for a Jewish Commonwealth is limited to terrorist groups. Mr. Joseph points out that while leading Jewish bodies strongly condemn the recent terroristic outbreaks in Palestine, they are all opposed to the White Paper and favor the establishment of Palestine as a Jewish Commonwealth.
