Louis Fitch, K. C., president of Canadian ORT. told an Inter-Group Conference at the Hotel Commodore today of the great accomplishment of the refugees and German-Jewish internees in Canada in connection with the war effort. He praised the work of ORT on behalf of the Jewish refugees and war victims.
“Many hundreds of students are being trained by the ORT school in Canada for industrial and agricultural work for the re-building of a post-war world,” Mr. Fitch reported. The school has received support from the Canadian government, he pointed out.
