Fifty-three members of Parliament associated with various political parties, today filed a joint motion in the House of Commons urging the creation of a Jewish Army to enable Jews to enter liberated European territories under their own flag.

Addressing the House of Commons on the post-war development of scientific research, Sir Granville Gibson paid tribute to Dr. Chaim Weismann’s outstanding work in the U. S. rubber production plan. “Dr. Weizmann is representative of hundreds of thousand of men who unostentatiously but faithfully helped the country to win the war,” he said.
