A campaign to raise from $25,000,000 to $50,000,000 in War Bonds among its nationwide membership during the month of June was formally launched today by the Zionist Organization of America. Edmund I. Kaufmann of this city, former president of the ZOA, heads the drive as national chairman of the Zionist War Effort Committee.
Local War Effort Committees have already been established in more than 250 communities, according to an announcement by national Zionist headquarters here. It is expected that as the campaign progresses the number of such committees will be doubled, the announcement said.
