Rabbinical Assembly of America to Hold Convention at Camp Delawaxen

The Forty-fourth annual convention of the Rabbinical Assembly of America, of which Dr. Louis M. Levitsky is president, will be held at Camp Delawaxen, Lackawaxen, Pa., it was announced here today. Sessions will open on June 26th, and continue through June 29th.

Among the highlights of the convention will be discussions devoted to the Jewish chaplain in the armed forces, the expansion program of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, trends in Jewish education, and the growth of the Conservative movement. The Rabbinical Assembly of America, representing the Conservative Rabbinate in the United States and Canada, has a membership of 350, of which 80 are serving as chaplains.
