Waldman to Visit Latin American Countries to Confer with Local Leaders

Morris D. Waldman, vice-chairman of the executive committee of the American Jewish Committee, has left for a tour of Latin America, during which he will confer with local community leaders on the educational, religious and philanthropic needs of the South and Central American Jews.

For sixteen years, the executive head of the American Jewish Committee, and its leading authority on foreign affairs, Mr. Waldman, in his new capacity as vice chairman of the executive committee, will acquaint the South American leaders with the activities and policies of the Committee and, in turn, bring back to the Committee leaders the latest and most authentic information on Latin American developments.

Among the countries to be visited by Mr. Waldman are Mexico, Brazil, Cuba, Uruguay, Venezuela, Colombia and the countries of Central America.
