A representative of the Jewish Agency has approached the Soviet Embassy here in connection with securing facilities for the Palestine Jewish Rescue Committee to sent relief to liberated areas of Eastern Europe. The results of the meeting with a Soviet official are not known.
A number of Palestinian Jewish women serving in the Auxiliary Territorial Service will shortly be discharged in order to join the Balkan mission of the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration, it is learned here.
