Ira A. Hirschmann, War Refugee Board representative in Turkey, has arrived in Palestine en route to the United States where he will report to the Board concerning the rescue of Jews in the Balkan countries and Hungary. He is expected to spend five days here. He has been engaged in recent months in facilitating the escape of Jews from Rumania and Bulgaria particularly.
