Teaching of Yiddish Made Obligatory in Non-jewish Schools in Biro-bidjan

The study of Yiddish has been made obligatory in all schools — Jewish and non-Jewish — in the Jewish Autonomous Region of Biro-Bidjan, it was announced here today. A new textbook for use in the non-Jewish schools has been prepared.
