The Joint Distribution Committee today announced that it will hold its 30th annual meeting on December 10 at the Hotel Commodore in New York. Leaders of Jewish communities throughout the United States will parti pate.
The meeting will feature a realistic presentation of the immediate and post war needs of European Jews as well as a forthright discussion of what is being done and what can be done to relieve the widespread distress, the announcement said.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
