Ten minutes of silence were observed in all Jewish factories and other enterprises today as part of the day of mourning proclaimed by the Palestine rabbinate. Mamy Jews fasted the entire day in accordance with a call issued by the Montreal Rabbinicial Council. Special services were held in all synagogues.
