All miror children, irrespoctive of nationality, whose parents or guardians were deported from France for political or racial reasons, have been placed under the provisional guardianship of the Office of Mutilated Veterans, War Victims and Wards of the Nation, under a decree issued here yesterday. The decree provides that responsible persons or institutions may be delegated as guardians for the children.

Meanwhile, David Scaltiol, Jewish Agency representative here, today denied a report published in New York that children of alion Jewish deportees were being substituted for those of deported French Jews, in order to overcome the government’s that the Ministry of Deportees has refused permission for the emigration of any children, regardless of their nationality. He said that the case of each child is now being examined individually by the Ministry.
