The Jewish Agency was urged to demand part of the German fleet as partial reparations for Jewish property stolen by the Nasis at a meeting called to mark the annual celebration of Jewish Maritime Day.

In Tel Aviv Jewish seamen participated in a parade arranged by the Jewish maritime League and the Jewish Agency’s maritime department.
