Anglo-french Cooperation Could Make Solution of Palestine Problem Easier, De Gaulle Says

A solution of the many pressing problems in the Middle East, including that of Jewish immigration into Palestine, will be found more easily if Britain and France cooperate in an that part of the world, Gen. Charles de Gaulle declares in an interview appearing today in the London Times.

The Near East, the French leader says, “is an area where Britain and France should have a common policy,” since they both have “a common interest in the advancement of the Arab countries.”
